About the Position

The District Attorney's Office is recruiting for a vital position in the department.
Under direction, classes in this series perform professional-level duties in the application of information technology to improve County departmental business and administrative processes; reviews business functions and strategies; identifies, proposes, and implements business process changes; collects and analyzes operational and systems data, and performs other duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate
A combination of education, training and experience which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities listed. Typically, this would include:
Business Systems Analyst I: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems AND one year of experience involving business process analysis, systems planning, information systems, and/or project management.
Business Systems Analyst II: In addition to the above, two years of experience equivalent to a Business Systems Analyst I with the County of San Luis Obispo.
Business Systems Analyst III: In addition, one year of experience equivalent to a Business Systems Analyst II

To accept a position with the District Attorney’s Office, you must successfully complete a Background Investigation. Below is a partial list of offenses or issues that may disqualify you from successful completion. Please review the below list:
