About the Role

Essity North America is currently searching for a Business Analyst. The preferred location is our Service Excellence Center located in Appleton, WI, but this position could also be located in our Regional Headquarters in Philadelphia.

This role is responsible for development of critical sales reporting, analysis and tools used by various areas in Professional Hygiene.

This person will interact with both internal and external customers including but not limited to: IT, Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Business Intelligence and Sales.

What You Will Do

• Manipulate large databases to transform raw data into business information that will help management achieve strategic business objectives;
• Measure and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate sales, pricing and profitability on an ongoing basis;
• Develop segment and category dashboards, scorecards and management/sales reporting processes;
• Develop interactive tools that provide effective ‘scenario’ analyses for key users, especially sales leadership;
• Conduct complex SQL queries and work with other data extraction, reporting and analytic tools such as Power BI and Power Pivot to develop reports;
• Support ad hoc report requests and various business needs by collaborating with IT, Commercial Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Business Intelligence and Sales;
• Maintain high level of understanding regarding how all areas of the company link together, the needs of the various areas, systems parameters, data limitations and impact on various departments when changes or development work is requested;
• Lead the development of reporting processes based on end customer tracings;
• Conduct periodic Revenue Reporting tools training for Sales;
• Provide reporting support and development for North American and European regions.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a business or financial field;
• Three (3) plus years of business experience, preferably in an Analyst Role;
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with key internal and external stakeholders;
• Microsoft Office, SQL, Power BI, Power Pivot, Qlikview, SAP, BW highly preferred;
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills;
• Proven problem solving and negotiating skills;
• Proven ability to work with higher management;
• Proven ability to anticipate and articulate future trends and consequences ;
• Project management skills is a plus;
• Proven business acumen, financial knowledge preferred;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
