Parametrix, a premier North and Southwest-based engineering, planning, and environmental sciences consulting firm is seeking a full time mid-level BRIDGE/ STRUCTURES ENGINEER to join our Bridge and Structures team and support our firm wide project delivery needs. Our team is currently working on numerous bridge and structures projects (rehab and new) throughout the Northwest and Southwest. The selected candidate will be based in our Seattle, Puyallup, Portland or Vancouver office based on candidate preference. WHO YOU ARE:

Experienced: You have your BSCE (MSCE preferred), PE license in Washington or Oregon (SE preferred) and 6+ years of relevant bridge or structures experience. Previous design experience in concrete and steel bridge structures, load rating experience, and an understanding of AASHTO and WSDOT or ODOT standards or equivalent DOT experience. Additional experience and understanding of IBC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7 experience preferred.

Technically Proficient: The primary duties may include conducting various complex structural analyses using a variety of specialized software, seismic analyses, bridge design, retaining wall design, developing structural design calculations, leading quantity take-offs and cost estimating, specifications, drafting reports, preparing CADD drawings, producing final PS&E, mentoring junior staff, perform QA/QC and resolving issues during construction.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Base salary for this position is in the range of $80,000-$100,000. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program.
