Job Description:

Western Wyoming Beverages is seeking a full-time Brand and Key Account Manager (BKAM) at our Rock Springs office. Western Wyoming Beverages Brand and Key Account Manager will manage the organizations brands for the soda division and key-account/chain activity for both soda and beer divisions. As the brand manager the position will oversee the 4 Ps of marketing for Western Wyoming Beverages entire soda product portfolio. As the Key Account Manager, the position is responsible for developing and maintaining viable relationships with key account customers, Providing category leadership and developing corporate and key account sales initiatives, increasing sales revenue and profits. The position will have overall responsibility for all brand development for non-alcoholic suppliers.


Product: The BKAM will oversee WWB’s product portfolio and inventory for the company. The position will work with the Director of Sales and inventory coordinator to manage WWB’s product portfolio including new products, authorizations, and discontinued products. The position will serve as the inventory administrator in reviewing inventory levels and dictating shortages and overages. The position will implement strategies to resolve overstock and out-of-stock areas.


Price: The BKAM will develop and implement pricing strategies that align with corporate supplier and programing to ensure profitability growth for the organization. The BKAM will develop annual pricing for the organization based on annual supplier price increases and develop chain, CDA, and independent pricing for the company’s soda portfolio.


Promotion: The BKAM will develop and administer monthly, quarterly, and annual price promotions for the soda division. The position will take national programs and initiatives and implement locally. Finally, the position will serve on the Sales Leadership Team to help develop, implement, and administer local promotions and marketing surrounding the company’s product portfolio.


Place: The BKAM will be the lead or account manager on WWB’s product distribution. The position will manage authorizations, sales, and track distribution for WWB’s product portfolio.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and communicates corporate and key account sales strategies.
  • Recommends annual sales plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve corporate key account customer sales and profit goals.
  • Analyzes market conditions and competitor strategies and provides direction to achieve corporate goals for chain accounts.
  • Prepares customer and company presentations to include business reviews, state of the business and account performance.
  • Develops and recommends go-to-market strategies, pricing, retails, product positioning to achieve market share growth.
  • Establishes and maintains corporate image with all customers, events, and meetings.
  • Develops and manages key account customer database to include sales, budgets, CDA, funding and customer investment
  • Strategizes with suppliers to create business plans within the markets served.
  • Prepare and present periodic business reviews to senior management, sales meetings, and customers.
  • Ensures correct product pricing at retail customers.
  • Demonstrate marketing through leadership and market execution.
  • Review and evaluates all product proposals from any new or existing suppliers.
  • Manage all products reporting as directed by senior staff.
  • Assists in media responsibilities such as buying, merchandising, posting etc. Meet all goals as established.
  • Manage all product suppliers as it relates to negotiation, communication, and execution by sales teams.
  • Implement “Annual Operating Plans” fully according to plan throughout the year.
  • Continually evaluate performance of existing system brands.
  • Participates in the decision to eliminate and add brands within the portfolio.
  • Develop and implement product portfolio promotions across the company to include projected costs and return on investment and co-op arrangements.
  • Conduct research as required to make quality decisions for brands and the company.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

Desired Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration or a combination of relevant experience and education.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in the beverage industry.
