Position Information
This position supports the Mission, Values and Vision of Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Cycle and Health Information, the Billing Manager is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the billing department to ensure standards are met and the claim filing process is completed efficiently and accurately. The Billing Manager will also manage the credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging process of new and existing medical and dental providers. This position reports directly to the Director of Revenue Cycle and Health Information with supervision over the Billing Associate I and Billing Associate II.
THIS POSITION OFFERS A 40-HOUR WORKWEEK, NO WEEKENDS, FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE, 12 PAID HOLIDAYS, BI-WEEKLY PAY.

Associate Degree.
Seven years billing experience and two years supervisory experience.
Certified Professional Coder.
Previous credentialing experience preferred.

Must be computer literate and at proficient level with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Attentive to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Physical Requirements
Constant standing and walking, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
May occasionally be required to lift patients, office equipment and paper, usually not exceeding fifty pounds of direct lift. Frequent computer work required. Must have transportation available during the workday for frequent local travel within and out of the community.

As a Medicaid/Medicare facility, Carolina Family Health Centers must comply with the Federal COVID-19 vaccination mandates. Therefore, as of January 27, 2022, new and existing employees must have received, at a minimum, the first dose of the primary series (Moderna or Pfizer) or a single dose COVID-19 vaccine (Janssen), have requested a lawful exemption, or been granted a lawful exemption.
