Basic Function

HF Sinclair in Artesia, NM is seeking a Billing associate. Depending on candidate's experience, this role will conduct intermediate to complex administrative assignments for assigned Accounting department under limited or direct supervision.

Job Duties

• Inputs assessorial and miscellaneous bills such as freight bills for Accounts Payable to pay
• Reviews and corrects data and inputs into several terminals manually
• Processes credit and re-bills
• Inputs wires and other bills for payment
• Mails out bi-monthly tax statements, monthly exchange statements, and daily invoices to customers
• Fills in and provides support to other staff as needed.
• May review Accounts Receivable errors and make necessary corrections
• May input sales orders to process Bills Of Lading for SAP
• May process raw materials and chemical receipts
• May process accounts payable and purchase orders for plant materials and services for Datastream

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion

Experience

A minimum of two to eight years of on-the-job experience is required.

Education Level

A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Required Skills

Depending on candidate's level of experience, ability to apply intermediate to complex clerical and data entry assignments for the Accounts department. Working knowledge of Microsoft products. Detail oriented; basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures; ability to identify discrepancies and determine alternative courses of action

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

Depending on candidate's level of experience, may lead the work of and/or train other administrative support staff as needed.
