Progress Inc. is a nonprofit provider agency that has been serving adults with intellectual disabilities and seniors in Nashville and surrounding counties since 1971. We provide day, residential and employment supports to this population to assist them to continue living the most independent life possible. We employ over 200 Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in the middle TN area that provide services through ECF, DIDD and CHOICES funded programs.
We are currently seeking applicants for our Billing Administrator position for our Day Program services.
Primary Duties:
- Reviewing Staff Communication notes for completion, quality and accuracy to support billing
- Reviewing Monthly Summaries
- Notifying staff of missing or incomplete daily communication notes
- Complete and submit waiver billing to billing manager
- Posting cash receipts to accounts receivable
- Enter data regularly into MS Excel
Requirements:
- Past experience working as a DSP with adults in the ID/DD population or experience in billing with MCOs is preferred.
- Must be proficient with MS Excel and possess working knowledge of all MS Office software
- Must not be listed on any registries reporting any form of fraud or abuse
- Must be able return a satisfactory criminal background check
- Must be able to complete at least 20 hours of paid preservice training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
