Bilingual Supervised Visitation Case Aide Job at Milemarkers Therapy
MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL
Job responsibilities include:
- Approximately 35-40 hours performing case aide duties.
- Coaching families in communication to foster positive family relations.
- Providing support in developing helpful parenting skills, stress management and other types of training to family members, including role-modeling techniques and practices.
- Arranging, transporting and supervising visitations between the children placed in out of home care, their parents, siblings and/or significant others to promote a continued relationship.
- Providing education for parents on how to access emergency assistance, supports, and community resources.
- Assisting families with goal setting, planning, and other activities related to home management tasks.
- Documenting all services appropriately.
All Parent Aid State Training is paid for by Milemarkers, Case Aide Training can be done from any accessible computer.
Requirements:
- Case Aides must be 21 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation, including proof of insurance, a vehicle safety check and an acceptable driving record.
- CPR, First Aid
- Level One Fingerprint
- Parent/Case Aid training from state of Arizona
- Preferably bilingual in Spanish / English
Important Information:
All Parent and Case Aides are required to submit a negative substance abuse test, be able to obtain fingerprint and criminal history background clearance, and clear the Central Registry Check Reports of child abuse and neglect.
