Provide behavioral services for children and adults with developmental disabilities whose families’ request life-skills/ behavioral training. Services may include vocational, social and daily living skills. Individuals learn skills in both home and community environments. Responsible for admission, transfer, discharge, assessments, individual plans of service, and coordinated services. Extensive driving throughout Macomb County required. Public Service Loan Forgiveness available to qualified staff.
- Schedule has non-traditional work hours which may include after-school hours. and driven.
- Maintain timelines, reports and documentation requirements.
- Master’s in social work, Counseling or Psychology with appropriate credentials/ licensure required. Must have behavioral therapy experience working with special needs.
