Forward Behavior is looking for an experienced Registered Behavioral Technician to work with children with autism and related disorders.

Duties:

• Provide direct 1:1 behavior therapy to children with Autism in a variety of settings
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior using tablet software
• Follow prescribed interventions as outlined by supervising staff
• Assist with parent and caregiver training on client's individual goals
• Effectively communicate with parents regarding case dynamics
• Maintain client confidentiality and high level of professionalism in all settings
• Maintain records, materials and instructional tools in the home and center-based setting in an organized fashion

Requirements:

• Your own personal means of transportation
• Pass a TB Test and Criminal Background Check

Job Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year Behavior Technician experience working with behaviorally challenged children with autism or other developmentally delaying disorders is required.

-Preferred: BA/BS in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Child Development, Social Work, SLP, Communications, or similar fields.

- Applicant must be a punctual, responsible, dedicated individual who is friendly, motivated, and have a high level of patience.

- Criminal Background Check

- Must have reliable transportation

Compensations and Benefits:

Starting salaries range from $22-30 per hour depending on experience and education.

Continuous, practical, hands-on training and supervision provided.

BCBA student/intern supervision provided

Service Areas: Pasadena, Burbank, Culver City, Los Angeles, Sherman Oaks, and surrounding areas
