Behavior SpecialistLocation: Hinesburg Community School Hinesburg Community School is seeking a full-time Behavior Specialist.We are looking for a highly-skilled individual to support in the development, implementation, and evaluation of both behavioral and academic programming within an inclusive model. Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience implementing intensive behavior plans; collecting, maintaining and interpreting data; and integrating instructional, behavioral and communication interventions into the classroom. Candidates will also be strong problem-solvers and collaborators. The ability to promote growth and foster independence, and a willingness to learn, are essential.Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelors degree, two or more years of similar experience, and an overall background in the field of special education.This position may include supporting students on the bus to and from school.
