We are currently seeking a Buyer, Digital who will report to the VP of Merchandising, Americas
YOUR OPPORTUNITY
You will set and develop the merchandising strategy on Balenciaga.Com and e-concessions to fulfill the growth targets.
Job Description
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Set and further develop the merchandising strategy to fulfill the given growth targets, localizing the assortment based on performance and business needs
- Prepare and guide the showroom buying sessions to build the most relevant assortment in line with global strategy
- Ensure assortment aligns with local strategies, financial plans, and global initiatives
- Partner with E-Commerce and Merchandising teams on product animations (exclusivity, pre-launches, etc.)
- Partner with E-Commerce team on E-VM and challenge when needed, based on product strategy
- Partner with E-Business Analyst to develop sales forecast and open-to-buy
- Ensuring successful management of open-to-buy
- Conduct KPIs analysis and define action plans to optimize the business
- Analyze the web analytics KPIs to understand the client behaviors and identify business opportunities
- Deliver analysis and feedback on sales; drive actions to exceed targets and achieve sell thru
- Analyze competition and provide feedback
- Prepare and present budget, forecast and business reviews
WHO YOU ARE
- Previous experience in digital merchandising/buying roles
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
- Passionate about exceeding corporate goals and driving business through excellent execution
- Ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills to liaise with local retail teams across the market
- Ability to travel
COMPENSATION
Annual base salary range of $100,000 - $120,000 USD
