POSITION: AV Production Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of AV Production

POSITION STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree in relevant field preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in audio, video, and lighting production
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills relating to a diverse community.
• Understanding of the United Methodist Church and Wesleyan perspective.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Commitment to work in close, supportive, and collegial ways with pastoral leadership and staff.

POSITION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Perform sound engineer duties in weekend worship services, special events, weddings, and funerals
• Assist with organizing and training volunteer technicians/engineers and project leaders
• Manage the editing and posting of worship services to for the on-line community
• Comprehend schematic and technical manuals
• Operate equipment and integrated systems
• Control cameras to adjust for lighting, gain, focus and white balance
• Organize material and provide technical support to the staff
• Perform maintenance on audio cables, speakers, projectors etc.
• Provide technical support to staff, members, and outside groups as needed

POSITION ANCILLARY DUTIES:

• Attend staff, worship, and other meetings as available
• Perform other duties as assigned.
