Associate Esports Analyst, Digital Products, Activision Blizzard Esports [12-Month Contract Role]
The Blizzard Entertainment Digital Products team is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and highly organized Associate Esports Analyst to research and prepare data driven content. The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator, love extracting storylines from data, and enjoy working inside a flexible team-oriented environment. This candidate should be experienced in both data analytics and infographic generation. Tenacity, self-direction and follow-up skills are a must, as well as the ability to identify issues and find effective solutions.
This position will interface with several teams and is responsible for delivering content on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities
- Monitor team and player performances via defined analytics for multiple esports leagues and properties.
- Monitor metrics and analytics for accuracy and performance.
- Delivery weekly reports on trends in player and team performances.
- Deliver infographics, dashboards, and custom visualizations to support analysis and data driven storylines.
- Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience in data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to generate infographics and creative assets based on data.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills. Able to relate to team members and build professional relationships.
Pluses
- Passion for Esports and Gaming.
- Experience working in the Esports or sports analytics Industry.
- Experience in content operations or graphic design.
