This position supports the Manager of Controls Engineering & Facilities Projects. Assigned tasks are conducted in compliance with all Company and Quality System procedures and policies.
Essential Duties & Resposibilities:
- Manage multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities
- Generate and release Equipment Manuals and other related procedures such as Set Up, Test, Measurement, etc.
- Generate purchase requisitions, design, tool room, and other requisitions, MWR’s, and documentation to conduct project activities. Obtain technical information needed for programming/troubleshooting existing and new controls and machines
- Train operators, technicians, and associate engineers on all aspects of new machine/controls operation
- Provide control troubleshooting support to Maintenance/Engineering/Operations Organizations. Perform investigations and diagnostic activities to resolve equipment and process issues
- Obtain technical information needed for programming/troubleshooting existing and new controls and machines
- Generate electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical/similar software
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Electronics, or related discipline, or related expience
- Electrical knowledge
- Basic Mechanical ability
- Soft “people” skills
- Must be Team oriented
- Skilled in Computer Aided Design systems
- Self-motivated
- 2+ years related experience or training
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, as well as PPC’s ERP and document control systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 Years design and build experience
- Experience working in a GMP environment
- Strong motor drive system knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operational instructions, procedure manuals, and SDS sheets
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in various situations
