Hawthorne Inn of Lakeland is now hiring full-time and part-time Resident Aides and Med Techs that are committed to providing the best life and care for our residents. The basic role of the Resident Aide and Med Tech is to assist with residents activities of daily living in accordance with the established procedures and as directed by the Director of Wellness. We are a 24/7 facility with multiple shifts available including weekends.

Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Aide by the State (Not required)
- Med-Tech certification preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- Experience/ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public. Prior health care experience preferred.
Requirements:
- Must meet mandatory in-service hours by attending in-services provided by the facility
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Maintaining confidentiality of all resident & facility data
- Must be caring, kind and patient with a positive attitude
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Observing Residents
- Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Taking care of a resident's personal hygiene
- Setting up of meal trays
- Assisting residents & serving nutritional supplements
- Making beds & keeping the residents' space clean and tidy
- Transporting residents within the Facility
