Position

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to help launch a new indoor golf business. This is not a typical golf facility but will operate more like a gym allowing members to learn and practice golf on state-of-the-art golf simulators with oversight from a team of instructors. We are looking for a team member to assist in facility operations, selling memberships and delivering outstanding customer service to retain clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Assist in all aspects of facility operations, supporting General Manager duties

· Act as on-duty manager during times General Manager is off property including supervising hourly staff

· Responsible for opening, set up, breakdown and closing of facility

· Deliver and handle membership sales and renewals

· Administer bookings and scheduling

· Provide tours for prospects and orientation for new members

· Deliver training to members on the use of golf simulators

· Support promotions activity including social media and attending sales events

· Oversee front desk related activities including check ins and merchandise sales

· Support daily reporting and sales reconciliations

· Monitor safety and cleanliness of facility

· Respond to member inquires and resolve complaints

Experience

· 1-2 years’ experience within membership-based business in fitness, wellness or golf industries

· Track record of membership acquisition and retention

· Experience using membership management and booking software

· Experience operating a public facility

· Proficient in sales and customer communications by phone, email and in person

· Knowledge of local business area

· Knowledge and interest in golf

Full-Time, required to work evenings and weekends

This will be the first facility opened in the US with the aim of making it faster for golfers to learn and improve their golf game using the latest technology blended with clear and simple instruction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 per year
