Assistant County Engineer Job at Harrison County Engineer
The Harrison County Engineer has an opening for Assistant Engineer. Applicant should have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license.
Examples of skills and/or experience relevant to this job include:
- Knowledge of plan and project specification preparation, including knowledge of AutoCAD and related engineering software.
- Knowledge regarding the public construction project process, including project field inspection, approval of change orders, disbursement of funds, and final approval of projects.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in property surveying and construction layout surveying.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in aspects of road and bridge design, construction, repair, and maintenance.
