ASSISTANT, CASHROOM (FULL-TIME) Job at Canteen
- We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHROOM ASSISTANT position.
- Location: Canteen Vending-4501 - A Auth Place. Suitland, MD 20746 Note: online applications accepted only.
- Schedule: Full-time schedule; open availability preferred. 8 am-5 pm, and days may vary; more details upon interview.
- Requirement: Prior bank teller/cash-handling experience preferred.
- Starting pay: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary
Summary: Prepares deposit verification and currency orders for vending route drivers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains accuracy of vending machine money collected and returned by route drivers.
- Prepares and distributes change of coins and petty cash for route drivers.
- Ensures coin and currency counters are accurate.
- Ensures route statements are accurate prior to making end-of-day deposits.
- Balances out the vault to ensure route statements match funds that are being deposited.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
