In this role, you will:
- Coach and develop Team Leaders and Technicians to enhance peak performance
- Partner with Department Leader in developing and delivering business Master plan
- Lead specific technical improvement projects per the business master plan
- Assist and lead specific team high performance improvement projects
- Assist in developing and executing key technical and organizational projects while increasing Smucker Quality Management System capability within the organization
- Develop leadership skills through the coaching of teams and individuals to increase and leverage High Performance Organizational principles

What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree required - Engineering preferred
- 1-3 years of prior manufacturing operational experience
- Demonstrate ability to be decisive, proactive, and strategic in decision making while role modeling balance for others.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting skills are important.
- Experience with root cause analysis is a must.
- Demonstrate ability to lead and influence a large organization to deliver business needs.
- Collaboration: demonstrate ability to work and collaborate effectively across organization boundaries and with diverse teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong commitment to quality
- Willingness to work a schedule that most effectively supports the organization. This could include beginning the workday at 6:00 am in support of Daily Direction Setting
