Apparel Production Coordinator Job at TCW Trends, Inc.

Our company is seeking for an experienced candidate for the position of Apparel Production Coordinator with club store apparel production experience. The Production Coordinator will support the Production team to establish and facilitate the production flow, counter sourcing, and distribution & completion.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Daily communication with the customers and overseas offices and factories.
  • Reviewing tech packs and purchase orders for the factories.
  • Order placement (creating/issuing PO contracts to the factory), tracking production and monitoring delivery status.
  • Dealing with garment costing & product development.
  • Following up with the factories on submits for all fabric, lab dips/strike off, accessories & trims layout, fit/proto samples, pre-production samples and production samples.
  • Reviewing all submits from the factories prior to sending them to the customer for approval.
  • Following up with the customer on approvals for samples, fabric, accessories and trims submits.
  • Coordinating lab tests of fabrics, garments and final goods inspections.
  • Preparing T&A (time and action) and WIP (work in progress) reports.
  • Manage WIP reports on a weekly basis to be submitted to the customer for all goods on order from production status through final delivery into customer’s warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
  • Following up with production and shipping reports.
  • Update/alert any late deliveries or shortages.
  • Attend necessary pre-production and production meetings, also prepare required reports.
  • Verifying shipping invoices for accuracy, as well as invoices to the customer.
  • Preparing of couriers, tracking couriers, open courier packages.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Education: AA or BS/BA required in relevant field.
  • 4 years experience in apparel production and/or product development.
  • Solid knowledge of technical requirements related to testing of fabric, trims, and garments.
  • Must be strong in follow-up with overseas factories on a daily basis.
  • Must be computer proficient and make spread sheets in Excel.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to think creatively and independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
