FOURMIDABLE is seeking a full-time, experienced Apartment Groundskeeper that is dynamic, organized and a self-starter to join our team at Sycamore Place Apartments located in Ashland City, TN.

Employees become eligible for paid time off the first of the month following 90 days of employment.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Under direct supervision, the Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior grounds/ property of the Community in a safe, clean and orderly manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Removes all trash and debris from exterior Community grounds/ property
• Maintains clear and safe walkways, entrances, driveways, and parking lots
• Plants and maintains landscape (flower beds, trees, shrubbery, etc) of the Community
• Maintains the lawn sprinkling system
• Maintains Community related signage

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintains interior physical appearance of Community, including basic vacant apartment preparation, painting, upkeep of common areas, basic carpentry, masonry and general maintenance
• Other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be detail oriented with ability to follow specific instructions
• Must possess ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
• Must posses good mobility, as position requires a great deal of movement and physical activity
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Must be neat and clean in appearance

PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess High School Diploma or equivalent
• Possess previous knowledge and/ or experience in sprinkling systems
• Previous experience operating outdoor maintenance equipment
• Possess knowledge of horticultural care

WORKING CONDITIONS

• General apartment community
• Majority of work is expressly performed outdoors, and will require working in and during inclement weather
• Occasional stress related communications
• Must be available to work days, evening, weekends and holidays as required
• Must be able to lift materials, etc weighting a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
