Title Digital Tech

Reports to Art Director

Overview
The Digital Tech plays a key role in the Ecommerce studio, bridging the photo studio and retouching teams to assure all products are captured, named, and dropped accurately. The tech will assist the Photographer and Art Director on set to problem solve and create assets with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create Capture session on the assigned set computer
• Assist the photographer in tethering and shooting a test image
• Apply approved style adjustments to the test and color balance
• Set appropriate folder naming with provided board card
• Maintain color and exposure balance throughout day
• Assist the photographer in any lighting or set changes
• Work with the art director to label finalized selects in approved order
• Output final selects and open in Bridge for the art director to create daily pdf
• Send the days pdf out for review to our internal team list
• Backup the session to portable drive to be later backed up on our archive drives
• Assist photographer in packing up gear, turning off equipment
• Straighten the set, return apple boxes to appropriate area for fresh start next day
• Locating and dropping any missing images from previous days
• Updating software on shoot computers
• Keeping batteries charged and location tech gear ready

Qualifications

• High Technical proficiency in Capture One program
• Ability to work well with a team
• Have an understanding of Adobe Programs *PhotoShop, Illustrator, Bridge are most used
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to work well with deadlines
• Time management and organization skills
• File Management skills
• General knowledge of lighting terms
• Color matching and correction
