A global leader in financial services. Equitable provides Retirement Planning, Investment, and Insurance Solutions to individuals and businesses locally and nationally. A support specialist will be expected to fulfill the following:

Our Support Specialist will work as part of a team to provide administrative support to the team and to the principal. The team member should have excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities. Specifically, the team member must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities in a heavy workload environment. The job entails learning basic policies and procedures and acquiring general knowledge of department operations and other departments and their functions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Receive incoming phone calls from current clients / prospects

· Process new business paperwork /service paperwork / client relationship maintenance

· Prepare documents for meetings

· Help promote healthy client relationships and rapport development

· Maintain a positive attitude and be able work well within a team environment

· Must be able to eventually anticipate what is needed and be prepared to grow with the organization

· Actively assist with new business tracking

· Manage calendar and schedule appointments when needed. Proactively reaching out to agents and offer support.

· Generate reports; prepare documents using Word, Excel, or PowerPoint as needed.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· College degree or financial services industry experience preferred

· Excellent written, oral, and listening skills

· Detail oriented

· Self-motivated, reliable, and a quick thinker

· Excellent time management skills, and organizational skills

· Proficient use of Microsoft office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT)

· Starting Compensation: $18-$20/hour or commensurate with Industry Experience

· Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
