Comprehensive Pain Consultants of the Carolinas, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a Board-Certified Advance Practice Provider (NP or PA) to work with a well-respected Pain Management practice in Murphy, NC.

As an APP on our team, you will:

• 
  Experienced with pain and medication management and will be able to provide patient centered care with high patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Physician and other Providers to create a safe, balanced, and patient focused approach to pain management and treatment plan
• Assesses the physical and mental condition of patients by performing and obtaining comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and medical histories.
• Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and other diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and health care needs.
• Maintains (accurately, timely and complete) appropriate Electronic Health records detailing the patient’s treatment plans and outcomes. Initiates timely consultation and referral when the problem exceeds scope of practice and/or expertise.
• Counsel patients and families regarding medical processes, management of the health illness/condition, medication, nutrition, and health promotion. Counsel patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over the counter medications and herbal remedies.
• Review patient documents to measure the effectiveness and quality of patient care.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program (AANP or NCCPA Certification)
• Maintains current and unrestricted state license with a DEA with Schedule II
• Experienced preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• CPR certification for Health Care Providers
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Desire to work as part of a team environment
