Rug & Home is a leading high-growth home furnishings retailer with (5) locations across the Carolina's. We are immediately seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide excellent customer service at our Raleigh Location.
Customer Service Associate responsibilities include acting as a liaison, providing service information, answering questions and resolving any emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency. To be successful in this role, you should be genuinely happy to help customers, have extreme attention to detail, and a high degree of organizational and prioritization skills.
Ultimately, the duties of the Customer Service Associate are to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
· Manage incoming phone calls and ringing up instore customers
· Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
· Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
· Provide accurate and valid information using the right methods and tools
· Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
· Keep records of customer interactions, process customer orders and file documents
· Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
· Take the extra mile to engage customers
· Process incoming product paperwork to ensure accurate inventory for customers and the stores
Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven experience as a Customer Service Associate or similar role
· Track record of over-achieving quota
· Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
· Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
· Problem-solving attitude
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to be up and walking around a majority of the time
· Bending, stooping and carrying on occasion
Work Hours:
The Customer Service Associate will be required to work 35-40 hours per week and is an hourly position. Extenuating circumstances may require additional time for certain periods.
WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
