The University at Albany Alumni Association, a 501c-3 not for profit organization that engages and advances UAlbany alumni, students and the University community, is seeking a professional for a full-time position.

The successful candidate will support the programs and services of the alumni office. An organized professional with strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to multi task is the ideal person for this position.

The individual will:

Assist with responsibilities that include processing transactions and event registrations, producing nametags, class lists and other event support;

Provide a wide range of administrative support to the Executive Director of the Alumni Association including preparation of correspondence, reports and other materials;

Execute a variety of tasks crucial to the efficient operation of the Alumni Association including ordering supplies, managing office equipment, answering phones, opening mail and managing the Alumni Association e-mailbox;

Manage the schedule for the conference center and maintain records, documents and information related to alumni;

Coordinate other administrative activities that support the Alumni Association function as assigned by the Executive Director; work collaboratively with coworkers; maintain an upbeat, positive attitude; and have a proven ability to work with culturally diverse populations; and

Demonstrate strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, the ability to manage spreadsheets, and maintain alumni records in a database program.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
