About The Job

Sandy Spring Bank is currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant in the Trust Department. If you are the chosen candidate, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Chief Operating/Compliance Officer and New Business Development Officer. You will perform a wide variety of duties to provide general and administrative support to the Trust Division as well as coordinate and administer various other duties and activities as assigned.

  • Administrative Support

  • Department Support

  • Client Service


Required Skills:
  • Five or more years of secretarial/administrative experience preferably in a banking or financial institution.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with knowledge of proper grammar and business typing format.

  • High level of customer and client service.

  • Experience using standard word processing and spreadsheet software with experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

  • Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to think quickly meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the Bank professionally in order to maintain positive rapport inside and outside the organization.

  • Independent judgement in the interpretation of existing policies and procedures.
