Description

Assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)

General Data Entry.

Apply cash receipts

New account activations – creating customer accounts in Mikrokey Software, setting up RMR schedules

Maintaining customer accounts

Processing monthly auto debits, credit card charges through Mikrokey and Authorize.net

Run monthly billing through Mikrokey, distributing to all customers via email and USPS mail

Collections of past due balances

Process daily invoices/credits

Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources

Assist in the transition of new software platform to be utilized - Maxaware

Assist Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing

A/P invoice matching filing

General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing

other ad hoc projects

Research discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required Classify documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes

Publish financial information to journals and ledgers

Customer Service experience

Requirements

· Candidates should have a background in general bookkeeping and accounting

· Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work

· Attention to Detail and Accuracy

· Ability to work independently and take the initiative

· Command of Accounts Receivable

· Proficiency in QuickBooks

· Proficiency in Excel and Word, Outlook

· Proficiency in using all types of office equipment (incl 10-key Adding Machine)

· Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable

· 5+ years of relevant experience

· Outstanding data entry skills

· Customer Service Skills

· AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
