Must Haves:

• Completad 1-2 actuarial exams
• 3-5 years of experience as an Actuarial Analyst in pricing
• Life insurance products experience with commercial line. Such as Term/WL/UL/Annuities
• Knowledge of insurance industry terminology and concepts, specifically related to commercial lines in life insurance.
• Preparing competitive product and rate comparison analysis reports
• Completing actuarial research relating to insurance operations

Plusses:

• Bachelor's Degree - Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics or related.
• ASA accreditation
• Strong desire for experience with GMxB and/or indexed features or living benefits
• Data skills

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to support a Product Development team. This person will be responsible for things such as pricing products, performing full valuations, and/or preparing all facets of testing models. Requires regular communication and consultation with managers of systems, administration, sales, finance and underwriting departments. Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining product pricing models
• Conducting peer review of assumptions, models and results
• Actively participating in the testing and implementation of products/reprices
• Do post-launch validation and monitoring
• Assesses market competitiveness on product features and pricing
• Create and maintain documentation and cross train others in the department

Day to Day %:

• 50% - building and maintain pricing models for life insurance products. Sensitivity testing, monitoring inforce products and making sure the results in the model are profitable and correct
• 30% - implementation; working with IT to implement the product into the system and troubleshoot any issues
• 20% - writing support to other areas (claims and other services about policy calculations)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $129,000.00 per year
