We are seeking a full-time qualified and dedicated Revenue Cycle Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic Revenue Cycle team in Miami, Florida!

The Revenue Cycle - Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks requiring data entry, in-depth evaluation, and sound judgment when posting payments. As our Cash Receipts Poster, your daily duties will include posting payments within the billing software, handling credit card transactions. The role requires an individual to possess in-depth knowledge of billing collection, accuracy in posting cash receipts. The ideal candidate must also be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and have effective communication with treatment centers.

Responsibilities Include::
  • Posts all Insurance and Self-Pay payments
  • Report repeating payment discrepancies to the billing manager
  • Daily balancing of cash receipts
  • Work with accounting’s Account Receivable specialist regarding deposit log discrepancies
  • Cash Receipts cross-train with billing team
  • Performs Month End Close cash receipt balancing to bank deposits and credit cards transactions
  • Process Insurance EOBs and Refund correspondences
  • Prepare Insurance Refunds from correspondences
  • Process credit card charges
  • Communicate credit card payment disputes to Billing Manager
  • Must maintain confidentiality with PHI
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications::
  • High school diploma or equivalent
• Three (3) years’ previous experience as a Cash poster or in a related healthcare position;• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Self-motivated and self-directed; able to work without supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; medical terminiology a must
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Knowledgeable with – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
