Accounts Payable Specialist
Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Director of Accounts Payable to achieve the following responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable entries – input & code invoice, process disbursement runs, assist with ledgers
- Accounts Receivable support – process commercial payments, send monthly AR reports, process monthly rent pulls
- Support for cash journals, reconciling bank accounts, processing account transfers, and posting journal entries when needed
Key Attributes Candidate Must Have
- BS degree in Accounting
- 1 – 2 years experience in Accounting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated
- Ability to work independently as well as be a team player
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and RealPage or similar accounting system
Qualifying Personal Surveys: All eligible candidates will be required to complete a Predictive Index and Leadership Evaluation Assessment survey; drug screening, and background check.
