Job Overview:

SAFRO CORP is looking for an Accounting Clerk to provide Accounting Clerk support services in the Uniform Business Office (UBO) at Naval Health Clinic, HI (NHCH).

Position: Accounting Clerk Services

Requirements:

  • Possess experience producing documents that require complex formats to edit, update or re-write to make clear and

  • Revise existing complex word processing documents or spreadsheets.

  • Possess and maintain current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life

Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the overall mission to provide high quality healthcare and support to operational forces.

  • Utilize electronic health records and electronic billing systems in the process of account maintenance and accounting support work requiring a basic understanding of accounting.

  • Examine, verify and maintain and reconcile accounts.

  • Account data, prepare and analyze reports.

  • Process approximately 850 accounts each month, totaling approximately 10,200 in a 12 month period.

  • Provide prompt and courteous customer services in person, by telephone, and written communication within one day.
