Process and record routine transactions according to established policies and procedures. Reconcile accounts, maintain files, and perform analyses.
Essential Job Functions
Process and record accounts payable transactions according to established policies and procedures.
Assist with month-end close and analyses as directed.
Resolve outstanding accounts payable discrepancies in a timely manner by researching data and providing appropriate recommendations.
Maintain customer, vendor, and accounts payable files.
Perform other duties and analyses as assigned.
Perform routine office tasks.
Supplemental Job Functions
Maintain thorough understanding of company policies and procedures necessary for completion of tasks and enforcement of internal controls.
Communicate with other departments and companies as needed.
Maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Two (2) year degree in Accounting or related coursework; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
6 to 12 months of experience in Accounting.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Experience with AS/400, Infinium, and QAD.
Working Conditions
Exposure to plant and manufacturing conditions. Temperature, noise, and the like may be unlike those conditions found in an office environment.
