About the Role: The Account Supervisor is responsible for the development of ongoing business relationships from the initial meeting and kickoff through the life of the account. The position manages one or more key accounts within the MMG portfolio and is responsible for the overall client satisfaction, quality of service, excellence in agency deliverables to the client, and on-time, on-budget completion of the agency’s services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role will focus on Account Management.
  • Assist Group Account Director in the strategy execution efforts of media campaigns.
  • Develop strong relationships with the primary clients in assigned and/or won account portfolio.
  • Possess the ability and willingness to manage both franchise and corporate level client contacts.
  • Represent the client in all planning, strategies, and execution of our media services.
  • Make smart, quick decisions in order to keep projects and campaigns moving forward.
  • Boldly lead and communicate with the client team. Proactively suggest projects and paths of work that will lead to strong performance.
  • Provide strategic guidance to franchise and corporate clients based on their specific business objectives and based on data and analytics insights related to their media performance and ROI.
  • Grow the accounts in the portfolio bringing higher revenue, growing media budgets, and expanding services where appropriate.
  • Retain clients through strong relationship management and performance.
  • Assist in leading the agency account team by setting the vision for the account and ensuring the right resources and staff are assembled to serve the account.
  • Lead the briefing process and present to client for approval and revision.
  • Act as agency lead on cross-agency integrated marketing programs, when applicable, by participating in multi-agency briefs and work sessions, contribute to the overall planning process.
  • Plan all engagements including goals, deliverables, renewal deadlines, schedules and budgets by managing the workflow process with support from agency producers by prioritizing projects and resources.
  • Keep clients informed of status of projects and handling their request promptly and thoroughly so that client’s confidence in the agency’s ability to meet their needs is maintained.
  • Ensure adherence to internal agency processes in delivering and executing media programs. Work with internal teams to use “best practices” across the department and agency.
  • Alert Senior Management of any new information that may have an important effect on Client relations.

SKILLS NEEDED:

  • Ability to speak directly, telling not selling.
  • Solve analytical challenges.
  • Ability to review and understand media performance analytics and know how to make recommendations based on data.
  • An understanding of paid search and social media campaigns and platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate and find opportunities to increase ROAS in media campaigns.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients by gaining trust and repeated successful delivery of expectations.
  • Aptitude to define solutions that will generate measurable results for the client.
  • Basic knowledge of the principles of advertising, marketing and media. A basic knowledge of disciplines underlying these principles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Industry or related experience in account direction, media strategy, and managing teams and clients.
  • Experience with various project types, specifically media and advertising campaigns.
