Delaware Business Times, a division of Today Media, blends the incredible reach and effectiveness of print advertising with the targetability of digital platforms and top tier events to deliver amazing results for our advertisers. The key driver of this business is the Multi-Media Account Executive. We are seeking an individual who can develop leads, uncover client goals and provide solution-based marketing presentations. This role requires managing multiple client campaigns across a variety of channels, including print, digital and events along with familiarity with Delaware and its surrounding region.

We publish multiple highly respected publications including Delaware Business Times, The Book of Lists, Innovation Delaware, and Careers & Stuff. We also produce successful events, such as DBT40, CEO of the Year and Women in Business. Our industry leading digital advertising platforms can reach any target audience across the U.S. We’ll provide all the tools you’ll need for high success, including ad production services, support staff, sales training and more.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prospect, contact and present advertising solutions to new and existing businesses
• Generate advertising revenue across all available advertising channels
• Form strategic business and marketing partnerships in the community
• Manage client relationships and oversee implementation of their marketing campaigns
• Work with local and digital sales managers to help achieve personal and company goals

Qualifications Requirements:

• Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment
• Desire to exceed standards within a goal oriented organization
• Proven track record of successfully selling to small and medium sized businesses
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Strong communication skills
• Media sales, especially Digital Media, a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
