Access control technician need to install and service various gate and door access systems including gate operating systems by Doorking, FAAC, Magnetics, Hysecurity, Viking, etc. Access control systems by Doorking, CellGate, Linear, RBH, etc. Readers by HID, AWID, Barcode Automation, etc. Edwards Ornamental Iron is a large manufacturer of custom architectural metals including gates for residential, commercial and industrial use. We are growing and in need of trained and experienced installers and repair technicians. We are a local company serving Northeast Florida therefor all jobs are local, allowing our technicians to be home each evening and on the weekends. We typically work 8am to 5pm M-F but can also be flexible. One week paid vacation and paid holidays are standard. After one year each member receives additional paid time off per seniority.
Typical installations are as follows:
- High end residential drive gate installation and service
- Gated entry for condominium projects
- Access control for doors and gates at community amenity centers
- Commercial and industrial gated entry. Controlled access to various facilities through doors and gates.
- Repair of existing gates and maintenance agreements
