FTE: Full-Time; 100% FTE

Salary Range: $33.65/hr to $43.26/hr ~ Annual Salary Equivalent ~ $70,000 to $90,000 per year

Summary


Mutual Housing California is looking for a Yardi administrator to join our IT Department. We utilize a large suite of Yardi products and are looking for someone to take on the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) for this software. The ideal candidate would have experience with Yardi Voyager 7S, specifically with Affordable or Residential modules and Accounting functionality.

This role reports directly to the IT Manager and works closely with our property management, housing development, and accounting departments. They will oversee the day-to-day administration of all Yardi Systems and provide daily support to all staff on all Yardi software products.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as system administrator for Yardi Systems Software, including YardiOne, Voyager 7S, RentCafe Affordable, RightSource, PayScan, BillPay, Payment Processing and Checkscan, Aspire eLearning, Forecast IQ, Job Cost, and any other Yardi system product implemented by Mutual Housing.
  • Assist as project manager for implementation of new modules within Yardi suite of products. Research new modules and provide recommendations on system improvements.
  • Act as primary support for Yardi products for all staff.
  • Assist property management and accounting in ledger reconciliations, deposits, payables, and financial report troubleshooting as needed.
  • Coordinate with Yardi software representatives, including troubleshooting service requests, creating custom reports, and researching solutions.
  • Complete onboarding of new properties and maintain existing property configuration, including configuration of property lists, affordable programs, unit configuration, and property controls. Assist Compliance in maintaining income and rent limits and affordable unit designations within Voyager.
  • Perform system maintenance including but not limited to setting up users, assigning user permissions, maintaining user security groups and menus, monitoring permissions and updates, 3rd party integrations, and testing for data integrity.
  • Assist property management in maintaining property websites via RentCafe.
  • Prepare and maintain user manuals, training videos, and training courses for Yardi products. Create custom course content and maintain Yardi provided course content through Aspire eLearning systems.
  • Provide training to new and existing users.

Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with the Yardi suite of products, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience administering Yardi products.
  • High-level knowledge and experience of Affordable or Residential modules, and Accounting functionality required. Knowledge of Job Cost, Advanced Budgeting, or Rent Café preferred.
  • High aptitude for learning new software systems or processes.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to write end user procedure manuals.
  • Strong oral communication and presentation skills to lead group or individual end user trainings.
  • Project management skills, specifically related to software implementation and planning, is preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
