Positive Pooches in Algona (just outside of Auburn, WA) is looking for a highly motivated, upbeat person to join our amazing and fun team. The position is part time for about 20-25 hours a week, Monday-Friday. There are 2 shifts a day: 5:45am-12pm and 2pm-7pm. Some shifts might also include 12-2pm. Candidates should be able to cover a variety of shifts. No weekends or major holidays!

Positive Pooches is a positive reinforcement based dog day care and training facility. We also offer high quality food and other retail products for our customers. We are conveniently located just blocks from Interstate 167 in Algona, Washington. All staff are also certified in Pet CPR and first aid (paid benefit!). The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a large group of dogs of all shapes and sizes and breeds. Customer service experience required. Animal handling or child care experience preferred, but not required. Able to lift 40lbs. Comfortable with picking up body waste (urine, feces, vomit) and giving basic grooming (nail trims, baths). Options to assist in our Extraordinary Enrichment daycare training program available.

We offer lots of opportunities for growth into management and in our dog training programs! In house training available for all our services, as well as reimbursement for outside training programs.
