Welder/Operator Job at Tri-Rinse
Starting Salary up to $26/hourly, based on experience

We are currently seeking an Operator/Welder, for our KC location, to perform cleaning, repairs & testing of chemical sea containers. This operator also will have the ability to perform welding on sea container frames, walkways & ladders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Adhere to Bayer and Tri-Rinse safety regulations and work procedures
- Must attend weekly and monthly safety meetings if not able to attend the day of, meeting will be made up the following attendance day
- Participate in set-up and clean-up of sea container cleaning bays daily
- Participate in the cleaning, regular maintenance and repair of sea containers
- Service, rebuild and clean valves as needed
- Perform confined space entries as required to remove chemical stains in sea containers
- Remove and replace Placards/ID numbers when required
- Preform visual inspections of sea containers at various onsite locations
- Prepare sea containers for certified inspections, including preforming pretesting
- Ensure all sea containers are cleaned properly and any defects or discrepancies are reported to Lead Operator
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform routine maintenance on pumps and other work related tools
- Perform welding in a safe efficient manner on iso tank frames, ladders & walkways.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 yrs of previous welding experience &/or Welder Certification
- Must have mechanical or maintenance experience
- Travel as requested, up to 25% of the time
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Industrial warehouse environment.
