Mitsubishi Motors is looking for a Warranty Operations Specialist to join our Aftersales Service team. As the Warranty Operations Specialist you will support the Warranty operations and claims processing activities by providing coordination, guidance, training, and scheduling support. You will also assist in the development of publications, support materials, and handling the MMNA Warranty Hotline (dealer/field phone and email support function).

Salary range: $60k - $70k, depending on previous experience

A representation of the responsibilities are outlined below:

  • Assist dealers, answer questions, interpret policies, and resolve various warranty related issues through incoming calls from the MMNA Warranty Hotline (phone & email system).
  • Monitor and support the warranty claims processing activity by reviewing reports, evaluating system issues, and correcting / adjusting claims as needed.
  • Receive and analyze dealer requests for both warranty labor rate and warranty parts markup rate changes. Accurately review and track requests and summarize back for management approval.
  • Support promotional claim activity by timely system set up and data entry.
  • Participate in the creation, development and production of warranty operations related publications and reference materials used by both dealer staff and MMNA employees.
  • Support the development and delivery of warranty operations-related training coursework and production of materials for dealer, field and internal MMNA department personnel.
  • Assist warranty operations related systems projects, processing issues/concerns, and new development areas. Analyze need for changes and make recommendations as appropriate.
  • Identify, recommend, and assist in the development, creation and modification of warranty coverage policy and procedures.
  • Perform general business analysis and produce internal reports and charts as required by management.
  • Monitor and track contact volumes and recommend appropriate coverage to meet demand.
  • Support the maintenance and development of the Warranty Department's website content.
  • Stay current on all activities within the Warranty group and be able to provide backup support as needed.
  • Calmly respond in highly stressful business conditions and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Meet stated deadlines while delivering quality results.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Location of Position

This position is located in Franklin, Tennessee (the greater Nashville area) and the successful candidate must be located in TN. While this role will require some presence in the office, it will be a hybrid role with ability to work from home an average of 3/4 days per week.


Position Requirements and “Nice to Haves”:

  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of professional-level automotive experience, preferably in the service and/or Warranty areas.
  • BS/BA degree in business related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate level experience with the Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to multi-task while handling phone & other duties.
