JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
This position enters and processes customer claim data using the SAP Warranty Claims module. It specializes in interfacing with unique customer agreements such as fleet-direct, field quality compaigns and product-safety recall coordination. It works with the finance to track campaign reserve accounts. It also works with the product groups to formalize campaign administration terms
Essential Functions:
- Warranty claim analysis for claim processing needs and customer negotiations.
- Reconcile customer accounts warranty balance statement.
- Set up recall and quality campaign terms and track spending against the reserve accounts.
- Review and administer new and existing customer warranty agreements.
- Warranty Policy Administration Applied to SAP, EDI and Web, including maintenance of SAP validation tables/rules, master data, and Web accounts.
- Set up and maintain special warranty arrangements including fleet-direct warranty and extended warranty programs.
- Identify and implement Warranty and NHTSA recall campaign process improvements.
- Administer Warranty supplier recovery of Buy/Sell products.
- Co-manage with Warranty Analyst department procedures.
- Work closely with CoCs and Sales to establish/update Warranty Policies.
- Provide leadership to Warranty Claims Administrator position.
Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of SAP
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access
- Working knowledge of ERP structure
- Knowledge of NHTSA recall expectations and Bendix procedures for recall administration preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in Warranty or related experience, with 2 years in the Heavy Truck Industry preferred.

- Ability to promote and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to work well with little supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including process documentation
- Strong bias for action, multi-task oriented, highly motivated and a self-starter
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong planning, organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to meet tight schedules
- Strong interpersonal skills working across all management levels, functions and locations
- Ability to lead impromptu teams created to develop and administer recall and quality campaigns
Education:
- Associate degree in General Business required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business related field preferred
