Overview:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily activities of the warehouse staff to ensure customer satisfaction, and ensure all company policy, vision, and goals are met.

Salary

• From $63,000 + Dependent Upon Experience

Responsibilities:

• Ensure employee/vendors safety controls are in place and working to mitigate / eliminate employee/vendors safety risks; ensure all safety SOP’s are being followed
• Ensure all equipment is maintained at optimal levels, reporting any issues immediately to maintenance
• Maintain a clean work area at all times
• Dock and cooler areas picked up (strapping, plastic wrap, pallet pieces, etc.) and swept clean
• Pallets pulled out and swept daily
• Dock and cooler areas cleaned daily with floor scrubber
• Pallets (empty) organized maintained neatly
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping regulatory requirements
• Ensure staff education and training is up-to-date and / or completed on-time
• Ensure customer satisfaction of all warehousing operations, delivering quality service with 100% order fill and on-time, at the lowest cost possible
• Ensure quality of raw product being received meets company defined quality standards based on USDA produce quality standards
• Monitor quality of services provided to both internal and external customers
• Set-up and maintain warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Manage stock rotation, inventory controls, and inventory reconciliation in Electronic Resource Planning systems, ERP system (Thyme)

Leadership Responsibility:

• Supervise in excess of 10 employees
• Ability to maintain an active physical presence on the warehouse floor
• Ability to develop and manage projects and balance priorities
• Experience in people development
• Capable of working without direction

Qualifications:

Education/Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' management experience in manufacturing and/or food processing
• Three years of first-line leadership experience in a warehouse environment
• Must have experience with warehouse equipment (Stand up Forklift, Riding Pallet Jack, Electric Pallet Jack, and Walk behind Jack)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Basic Comprehension of process improvement methodology
