We are seeking to add a full-time Warehouse Storage Laborer to our team to support our expansion. For this entry-level role, we are seeking enthusiastic and hard-working individuals interested in long-term career growth. The Warehouse Storage Laborer works on a team, packing and removing the damaged property from homes or businesses and moving it to our on-site storage facility for potential cleaning and restoration
Responsibilities:
- Pack customers' property in boxes and wrap furniture in padding in accordance with Chicago Water & Fire Restoration’s exceptional standards for care
- Relocate salvageable and undamaged property to a temporary storage facility for cleaning (if necessary)
- Utilize contents inventory software to document all items removed from the job site
Requirements:
- Must be able to twist, bend, and lift heavy items on a regular basis
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs
- Must be friendly and customer-service-oriented
- Must be able to utilize and learn new computer programs used in the documentation and tracking of items stored during restoration projects
