Warehouse Receiving and Inventory Administrator Job at ENCON EVAPORATORS
OPPORTUNITY: ENCON Evaporators is a manufacturer of evaporation systems for industrial and commercial wastewater and process applications based in Hooksett, NH. We offer an excellent opportunity for an energetic supply chain professional with receiving and inventory experience of wide ranging process components and materials such as burners, blowers, control devices, piping, valves, pumps, and fabricated stainless parts. This position requires extensive Material Resource Planning (MRP) software experience.
OVERVIEW: The Warehouse Receiving and Inventory Administrator is a member of the Supply Chain department that supports Production. Responsibilities include: managing the stock room, receiving goods against purchase orders and making timely quality assessments on components and raw materials, preparing work order kits for production, maintaining accurate inventory and cycle counts, consistently and accurately updating inventory in MRP, and shipping spare parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working collaboratively with buyers and other members of supply chain and production to ensure a highly efficient procurement system including receipt of goods, rejection of non complying materials and components, and timely supply of kits needed for fabrication and assembly of systems.
- Consistently updating MRP so demand for parts and components happens efficiently and without causing delays for components or excessive inventory.
- Develop and manage processes to ensure that the physical inventory is in alignment with MRP. This includes initiating and reviewing quarterly cycle counts and annual inventory audits
- Maximize the value we receive from our vendors by coordinating well with buyers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to help streamline processes and consolidate the number of parts required for ENCON systems.
- Drive costs down by consolidating sources of supply and develop strategies that assist the organization in working within approved sources of supply.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Extensive experience and skill with forklift and hand truck operation for offloading trucks and transporting large and small industrial materials and components within the warehouse is required.
- The ability to interact effectively with supply chain colleagues, production, engineering, service, and accounting personnel, as well as with the representatives of supplier companies.
- Demonstrated skill using MRP systems will be required.
- Experience and familiarity with engineered components and systems used in industrial equipment such as burners, blowers, control devices, piping, valves, pumps, and fabricated stainless parts.
- A demonstrated ability to understand the needs of a manufacturing organization and help ensure that internal processes and methods are aligned with our sources of supply.
- An ability to interpret stockroom, inventory and bill of materials analytics.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills including extensive experience with Microsoft Office, email, and phone skills.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- APICS, Lean Six Sigma certification or training, etc. is a strong plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
