Overview:
UNFI Warehouse Order Selectors use an electric pallet jack to navigate the warehouse to accurately pick and stack orders using a Vocollect headset system and/or order sheet. You will be responsible for safely pulling and gathering orders of goods in our grocery (dry goods, frozen and perishables) warehouse and delivering them to the appropriate docks.

Rate of Pay: $21.10/hr. + Incentives/Overtime Pay!
Schedule: 4:00 PM start | Split shift (Saturday + weekday off)
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately and safely selecting orders in different temperature-controlled areas of the warehouse, building, stacking and shrink-wrapping pallets to meet weekly production quotas and standards.
- Use a voice-controlled headset and/or order sheet to receive orders and operate a power pallet jack to transport products to correct dock area.
- Continual lifting of cases between 30-70 lbs., with the occasional case up to 100 lbs. and staying physically active throughout shift.
- Ensuring order accuracy, checking the product for damages, and report any product damages/loss.
- Reports adjustments to inventory counts, spoilage or damage to stock, location changes, and out of stocks.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with double pallet jack, headset, and/or any order picking equipment preferred.
- Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
- Able to pick with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment to meet quotas.
- Able to work the required schedule with mandatory overtime (8+ hour shifts), which could involve nights, holidays, or weekends.
- This is a bargaining unit position; associates are required to join the union by their 31st day of employment.
