Warehouse Manager Job at The Judge Group
Large food manufacturer is seeking a Logistics Warehouse Manager. Position will be responsible for managing in-house logistics activities, 3PL warehouse relationships, and 3rd party carrier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the logistics process for the eastern region
- Manage long range planning
- Manage relationships with 3PLs and carriers
- Ensure efficient flow of product to meet demand and efficiency goals
- Manage and develop strategies for maximum efficiency in supply chain process
- Maintain statistics and reporting to ensure goals are on target
- Identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies to inventory process
- Coordinate with other departments and external vendors on Inventory Planning, Supply Planning, Operations
- Participate in medium and long term planning and strategies
- Ensure KPIs are met- create reporting and variance explanations
- BA/BS in business or engineering related discipline
- 7+ years logistics management experience in the food manufacturing industry
- Warehouse facility management with progressive leadership roles demonstrated (multi-facility a plus)
- 3PL Partner Warehouse Management (contracts, performance management)
- Contract Carrier Management (contracts, performance management ? as shipper and or carrier)
- A collaborative and flexible style that leverages both patience and persistence.
- Demonstrated strong aptitude in analysis, root causes identification, and problem solving
