Monday-Friday: 9am-6pm

The
Warehouse Float Associate
is responsible for cross-training between PPS, Returns, and Engraving roles to support departmental needs as directed by supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Pick, Pack, Ship
- Perform general warehouse duties, such as picking, packing, and stacking orders for shipment.
- Check inventory to verify availability of needed stock.
- Sort, count, package, label, and inspect shipments that are received.
- Stock shelves with inventory in the warehouse.
- Notify supervisor or manager with problems with orders, damages, or shortages of inventory.
- Sweep, dust, and mop as always needed and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
- Responsible for acting in accordance with Mars’ Safety procedures with all employees helping to ensure the facility is always operating in a safe manner.
Returns
- Sort through returns and group by sellable stock, non-sellable stock, non-stock, damaged, and over shipped stock before following procedures for each scenario.
- Assist with sorting & organizing VMI orders.
Engraving
- Engrave parts based on customer specifications.
- Work with the quality department to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Read all paperwork provided to ensure that products are engraved accurately.
- Upload files into image software.
- Place items in fixture for the engraving process and removes when complete.
- Quality checks all products to ensure engraving is straight and accurate.
- Package products correctly according to the job order.
- Report problems with quality, processes, or equipment to supervisor on shift.
- Maintains clean and organized work area to boost employee’s personal success and production rate.
- Use specialized measuring equipment to verify engraving specifications.
- Set up machine efficiently.
- Load and unload product.
- Know, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follow written instructions and batch records.
- Complete relevant documentation and log of completed jobs.
- Based on volume, employee will be asked to help in other warehouse activities (picking, QC).
Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Experienced in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook for email
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Experience working with an ERP system, Eclipse preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, RF scanner preferred.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb, lift, and move materials up to 75 lbs.
- 6 months warehouse experience preferred.
