Warehouse Associates ensure that the daily functions and procedures of warehouses, such as distribution centers for manufacturers and retailers, run smoothly and efficiently. From shipping and receiving to maintaining inventory, the Warehouse Specialist must keep close tabs on all facets of warehouse operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Fulfilling service orders materials/equipment requirements
Packaging items for shipment and arranging delivery pickups
Loading and unloading of materials and products, as well as verifying the quantity of items received against invoices.
Keeping detailed shipping and receiving logs to account for all materials that enter and leave the warehouse.
Restocking, cleaning, and organizing the warehouse
Monitors inventory levels; notifies supervisor when inventory quantities are low
Utilizing inventory control systems
Adhering to standard operating procedures, OSHA safety requirements, as well as company policies
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management
Ensures safety and productive work environment per OSHA, NJ DOL, and Corporate policies
