Salary Range: starting pay $21.77 (Will receive a pay raise every 6 months based on performance)

Job Purpose:

Under the direction of the Supervisor, and/or the Warehouse Associate I, perform all basic warehouse functions: issue, receive, pickup/deliver materials; cycle counting, work rotating shifts, call-out, cross train and support customer needs.

Primary Functions:

• Learn and apply safe work practices

• Assist on daily safety checks of all logistics equipment, i.e., trucks, forklifts, aisle stackers, etc., before operating

• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse

• Train and learn to issue materials into the OUC (EnterpriseOne) computer system and Barcode Scanner

• Mark and/or label materials with identifying information

• Assist in the delivery of materials to operating crews

• Assist in keeping free bins stocked to proper levels

• Assist in the pick-up/ delivery of material from OUC suppliers

• Use OUC equipment for storage and retrieval of materials when accompanied by a Senior Warehouse Associate

• Ability to work extended hours when required including nights, weekends, holidays, and during storms

• Ability to work between Pershing, Gardenia, St Cloud, and Stanton Energy Center locations

• Ability to work late shift and 2nd shift

Education/ Certification/ Years of Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED;

• Minimum of Six (6) Months of warehouse or related experience

• Must possess a current and valid Florida Driver’s License

• Class A CDL preferred

• Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

This job consists of constant standing, walking, speaking and hearing. It also consists of very frequent lifting up to forty (40) lbs., bending/stooping, pushing, pulling, digging, reaching overhead, kneeling, crawling and climbing (ladders, stairs, hills). This job consists of occasional sitting but does consist of frequent lifting up to fifty (50) pounds or more.
